Alacrity Management is a different sort of model agency offering its clients a much better deal than they can obtain elsewhere. How is this the case?
Most model agencies operate a standard contract which is very restrictive of the client's rights. However much the client pays - and the sums can be very large - they are only allowed to use one image for one year and/or have to pay per image. The copyright is retained by the agency and the model.
Alacrity management can quite see the reasons for this. It protects the agency and the model but it effectively constitutes a restrictive practice.
We do not have a standard contract but negotiate on the model's behalf on a client by client basis.
This is because whereas we believe this restrictive practice is helpful to established models, we do not believe it helps new talent get started.
So what we will do is take a brief, offer you a model or models, and agree an individually-tailored contract which we believe represents the best interests of all the parties concerned.
